We are excited to announce the beginning of enrollment for our EF-ACT pivotal trial to determine Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction (LVEF) severity directly from our AI-enabled Peerbridge Cor? remote ECGdevice. Following in-depth discussions with leading cardiology experts and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the trial will involve approximately 1,000 patients across multiple trial centers and is the first pivotal trial to study direct-from-ECG ejection fraction (EF) at this level of fidelity. TRI.FR study preview with Nicolas Van Mieghem and Joost Daemen ahead of ESC Congress 2024 TRI.FR study involves up to 300 patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation, confirmed by both an Echo Core Lab and a screening committee. Patients are randomized 1:1 to receive either the TRICLIP device on top of the standard of care or the standard of care alone. The study will categorize patient outcomes into three groups: improvement, worsening, or no change. This stratification will help determine the effectiveness of the TRICLIP device. There is optimism for positive results from the TRI.FR trial, with expectations that the TRICLIP device will demonstrate significant benefits in managing severe TR. This study could have significant implications for the treatment of severe TR, offering a new interventional option that may improve patient outcomes beyond the current standard of care. #ESC2024 #ESCCongres

?? Exciting News for the EPP and XLP Community! ?? Disc Medicine has announced promising developments in their treatment for EPP and XLP following a successful meeting with the FDA. There's now the potential for an accelerated review process, which could mean faster access to Bitopertin for patients if approved. This pathway would allow the FDA to consider conditional approval while final clinical and safety trials are still ongoing. Key updates from Disc Medicine: ?? The upcoming Phase 3 clinical trial, called the APOLLO trial, will include patients with both EPP and XLP. ?? Children aged 12 and older will be eligible to participate. ?? The trial will focus on measuring pain-free time in sunlight, a major step toward improving the quality of life for those affected by these conditions.
