Dear Apple, I kindly and humbly ask you to put your best people together to come up for a solution to irresponsible drivers who text and/or check their phones while driving, especially throughout school zones. How about disabling some functionality using GPS coordinates of such zones? or turning on a siren to remind people that it's not ok to do so? The day for fully automated driving is still far, so we need some sort of solution to stop kids from being hit by distracted drivers on their way to school. With electric vehicle ownership on the rise, it’s exciting to see new ways people are reducing their impact on the environment by changing the way they get from point A to point B. That’s why I’m pleased to announce new and expanded tools coming to Google Maps and Search to help EV drivers, whether they’re planning a trip or already on the road. These features include AI-powered summaries based on helpful user reviews — like where a charger is located in a multi-level parking lot, and if the charger is compatible with their car. We’re also thinking about ways to give EV drivers helpful info at a glance, such as displaying nearby chargers on the in-car map and providing real-time details about availability and charging speeds. For Google built-in users planning multi-stop trips, Maps will soon suggest the best charging stops along the way based on their battery’s charge level.
