Just came across a design oversight in new Daily Games feature on LinkedIn Android App – the item separators in the horizontal list are missing! ?? This might seem like a small detail, but these little things add up to the overall user experience. It's a reminder to always pay attention to the finer details in our UI/UX design, whether it's a separator, padding, or alignment. They might be subtle, but they make a world of difference! As a React Native developer at Primefit, I try to minimize these errors by thoroughly testing my components across different devices and screen sizes, incorporating automated checks, and paying close attention to design specifications. What do you guys think about the new mobile layout Twitch released? It looks very nice and modern. However, there are some features and improvements I think Twitch can use on their mobile interface. Here are 5 features Twitch can benefit from on their mobile app. (in my opoinion) 1. The home screen for the twitch mobile app needs a way to refresh the screen. 2. The home screen can also benefit from a scroll to top button. 3. If the user goes idle on a stream for too long on the home screen they are automatically directed to that stream and the volume is turned on. I personally found this irritating because I did not want to be on this stream. Additionally, the volume was turned on automatically and it startled me. 4. I liked the recommended for you button on the Twitch mobile app, I do not see one on this new interface. 5. The new home screen reminds me of Instagram and Tik Tok. I like how you see individual streamers on the home screen and how much space the screen takes up. Maybe, adding the comments in the blank space would make it look better and not as empty as it looks now. Why UI/UX Is Important? ???? ??Whatsapp changed its interface again. All the menu has been moved down. ??There was no need of doing it, right? but, look at the other side. ?? The app looks much more clean and simple. ?? This is some vital information that an UI/UX person can come up with to make user stick on their platform. Design is very simple but very beautiful. By doing this, Meta has proofed it again that they will not their user stick to regular interface for a longer period of time. Project Overview: Distance to Time Conversion: Users can select a type of personal vehicle and enter a desired distance to travel. The app calculates and displays the time required for the journey. Compare All Options: Users can compare travel times for the selected distance across different vehicles. Check Fuel Efficiency: The app calculates fuel consumption for the given distance. If the distance exceeds the vehicle's range, it indicates that the journey is out of range. Responsive Design: The app adapts for both mobile and desktop use, ensuring a seamless experience across devices. ?? Key Functionalities: Input Field: For entering travel distance. Radio Buttons: For selecting the type of vehicle. Text Element: Displays the converted travel time. Button: Executes the calculation and updates the display. Responsive Design: Flexbox for mobile and desktop usability. Range Limitations: Visual indications for out-of-range distances.
