I found this quiz that explores where we fall on the spectrum from pre-crastination to procrastination. It's intriguing because it sheds light on our tendencies to either jump into tasks well before they're due or delay them until the last minute. It offers valuable insights into our work habits and how they impact our productivity and stress levels.W Why not give it a try and see where you land? https://lnkd.in/gw2YETgA #BreseightAustralia #TimeManagement #ProcrastinationQuiz

What's going on? We are on the same boat, heading in the same direction, yet we are not winning"!! Does this sound familiar right now? Shouldn't this be easier than it feels? Subtle nuances are often missed because we are so pre-occupied with what we have to do, we forget to stop and look up. Just in the last week, have you found yourself sitting at your desk, or in a meeting wondering why everything feels so complex and hard? Well maybe this is the time to start asking different questions. ?? What can you personally do to change the current situation? ?? What questions are you avoiding that could make a significant shift? ?? Are you constantly compromising because it's easier or collaborating by sticking to your principles but letting go of your solutions? ?? What beliefs do you currently hold about people and the business that is affecting your behaviour, and are these true? We often feel powerless and frustrated and yet there is so much we can do and 2 of these are sitting squarely with us: ??Consider going to your key stakeholders and simply asking if how you are working, working? ?? Think of your current mindset and change the story your are telling yourself. Once you do this, you will start to notice the subtle difference between picture 1 and 2. #maketheboatquicker #teamwork #bettertogether

Feeling stuck in your thinking? Socrates taught us to ask more questions to gain a deeper understanding. Questioning can challenge our biases and unconscious thinking. By asking "why" and "how," we can get to the root of ideas and see things from different angles. Have you practiced this? Share a question you have used to challenge your thinking in a workplace setting. #PathwiseLeader #PathwiseLeadership

Every Friday I share a question that you can use to catalyze some real talk over the weekend and to ponder yourself. What is the old stuff that must die? What “old skin” (behaviors, thought processes, etc.) do you need to shed? For me I’m constantly looking for old behaviors and outmoded ways of thinking that no longer serve me. One recent insight comes to mind: I always think that if something’s important, I have to work hard to make sure it goes well. Although of course I see the value in hard work, I find that if I focus on enjoying it I’m simply looser and it goes better. This is true for public speaking and talking through tricky issues with clients. How about you? Tell us in the comments what you’re getting rid of and making more room for! #personaldevelopment? #gettingthingsdone #future? #productivity

When you write, your thinking slows down, and you can stay more present and focused, and find the solutions that may have been eluding you. Thus productivity can come from doing less, and being more reflective. #expressivejournalwriting #productivityimprovement #mentalhealthatwork #workculture

Have you ever felt like you're stuck in a rut and can't seem to get out? Constant tasks, deadlines, communications, and questions — all of this can make it hard to focus on what's truly important. A helpful method for resolving this issue can be Quarterly Think Day, which we'll discuss in this post ?? The idea behind Quarterly Think Day is to set aside time and space once a quarter for self-reflection, goal setting, and planning for the next three to six months. It's important on this day to minimize online activities as much as possible to be alone with your thoughts. Tips for conducting QTD: ? Set aside the necessary time (you should be in the right mood for reflection, so close all urgent matters so that nothing bothers you) ?? Make a list of questions (make sure you know what to think about) ?? Set goals (formulate expectations of what you want to achieve by the end of the day) ?? Schedule breaks (it's best to go for a walk to recharge and get back to thinking with a fresh mind) ?? Write down your conclusions (this will help you track your progress over the quarter) To have a productive day, you need to ask yourself questions like:? - What is important to me? - What do I need to do? - Where do I want to be in six months? - What can I do? - What should I do? - What can I delegate? - What do I want to do? Focus on your core needs with the BICEPS system: belonging, improvement, choice, equality, predictability, significance. After working through all the questions, you will be able to form a list of next steps for yourself that will help you move forward in line with your long-term goals! #jatapp #goals #quarterlythinkday #thinkday #thinking
