Changes are coming to the Cotton Bowl and we’re thrilled to be on the Overland team providing civil engineering services for this current phase. Our firm’s history with the Cotton Bowl dates back to 2006, working as civil and structural engineering consultant for multiple restorations and expansions though the years. The continual transformation of the historic structure is amazing to witness.?

OVERLAND project Cotton Bowl Stadium Renovations & Additions broke ground this morning! We are so honored to be a part of this historic project which is the largest single investment in parks in the history of Dallas and a catalyst for the restoration of Fair Park Dallas and the surrounding community of South Dallas. This project is spearheaded by City of Dallas, Fair Park First and Dallas Parks.

I do have to laugh at the mentality today of "breaking ground". The ceremony and photograph opportunity stands as a construction development today, and doesn't particularly fit who engineers and architects are in the projects. What JQ should focus on is showing more of what engineers and architects do everyday. This type of photo shoot makes the general population think we are just construction people.
