Most founders think fundraising is all charisma. They’re wrong. Here’s the truth…?? It’s mainly an execution problem. It’s a formula. A recipe. Right ingredients + right order = ?? I hate seeing founders intimidated by fundraising. They don’t feel like they have enough charisma. More like Steve Buscemi, not like Steve Jobs. Sound familiar? This message is for you: I’ve seen many founders who don’t describe themselves as charismatic raise TONS of capital. If that’s you, don’t give up hope. Learn the formula. ?? Trust the process. ?? Execute it well. ?? The money will come. __ Was this helpful? ?? like and ?? repost it to help another founder!
Its all charisma, lets be honest. Business models, tech, and fundamentals don't matter, just a flashy smile ??
Great reminder and message Jonathan. Too many people sell or buy the story that you have to be some special version of human to accomplish certain things.
"The Steve Buscemi of Fundraising" There's something there..
I think the same applies to sales..
Trust the process. It's hard to understand initially, but when you see what happens when you simply follow the process and put in work consistently ... it's hard to go back
It's about value, first and foremost. If you demonstrate you can build valuable products, thus creating value for customers and investors alike, you're in business. There are many ways to demonstrate value and charisma isn't the only ingredient.
Charisma is important in all aspects of life, but it is no replacement for things like revenue and performance.
