How do you snap out of it? How do you focus at work when you're having a bad or an off day, month, or even season? My wife lost her great-grandmother two months ago and her aunt just last week. She knew their time was near and was somewhat prepared, but she’s struggling to focus knowing what’s going on without her being able to support her family at this time. Today would have been Grandma Lula's 102nd birthday, and my in-laws are in Puerto Rico at this very moment making funeral arrangements for Titi Sandra. Understandably, my wife is finding it hard to concentrate at work today. She asked me how I manage to focus in times like these, and honestly, I don’t have a perfect answer other than to take time, but she doesn’t want to take time off because work helps her stay distracted. We know Grandma Lula would’ve danced through it… ?? but, what do you do in times like these?
