The silent nod suffocates teams. Instead, you want open (dis)agreement: You present the quarterly goals. The OKR’s are crystal clear. You ask the team: ? Are we aligned on this? You get the silent nod. Meeting ends. Later that week, a team member pulls you aside. I'm not clear on this quarter's commitments. It turns out everyone feels the same. Doh!
