A giant window like this is designed to provide a view, so it's important to show that view in photos. Sometimes, I'll let the windows be lighter and choose to obscure the details if they're distracting, like when there's another building right outside. In this photo, I wanted the view of the big sky to take center stage, so the interior is represented, but secondary. I also typically wouldn't want hard shadows like this, but in this context I think they're really dynamic and add to the visual interest. With the TVs, the table and the extreme perspective, the shadows act as additional leading lines bringing your eye back to—you guessed it— the view.
