Short post with lots of thought behind it. My read on Victor's thesis: It's become much easier to build tailored solutions to long time challenges in a particular industry or even single organization. Homegrown solutions have begun to challenge larger enterprise based solutions. The challenge will be to create lots of integration between homegrown and commercial tools - and even with other homegrown solutions. Can't wait to see what comes from this!
