University of Arizona students! Tomorrow at 9am, a first time Asynchronous Virtual Career Fair becomes available. Until February 5th, students can go online anytime, day or night, and watch employer videos describing their organization, culture, opportunities and how to connect. What is an elevator pitch? How do I create one? ?An elevator pitch is a brief introduction and description of yourself and your top skills. You want it to be the length of an elevator ride (30-60 seconds), hence the name. Here, you can introduce yourself, your career goals and what you consider your most valuable skills. To create an elevator pitch, start by saying your name, your class standing or expected graduation date. After the introduction, highlight your job experience and skills you learned throughout those jobs that you deem most important. Be sure to share your values in the workplace and what you would bring to the table for the company. Drop-in to the Career Studio during 10 a.m.-5 p.m. to practice and get feedback! ?
