???????? ???? ?????? ?? ???????????????? ???????????? ????????????????: ???????????? ?????????????????? The October 7 pogrom in Israel was the worst massacre of Jews since the days of the Holocaust, yet rather than rally to the victim’s side with empathy and compassion, the international community has, confoundingly, exploded with Jew hatred. ???????????? ??????????????????: ?? ?????? ???????? ???? ?????? ???????????? ???????????? is, therefore, a profound and timely documentary that delves deeply into the roots of antisemitism and provides sobering revelations about the world’s oldest hatred. Where does such unbridled hatred come from, and can it be harnessed into a force for good? Tragic Awakening answers these and so many other questions with unvarnished candor. Independent media is essential to our survival
'To my German Friends: How many rivers of Palestinian blood need to flow before you feel cleansed of your guilt over the Holocaust' 'Our leaders in the west have to understand, that they cannot be democratic if they support the idea of an exclusively Jewish state. What would they say if I were to support an exclusively Greek Orthodox Greece? I think that I would be immediately denounced as anti-European, anti-liberal, anti-democratic, a xenophobe bear that in mind.'

Today, as Israel and Jewish communities worldwide observe Holocaust Remembrance Day, we solemnly honor the memory of the 6 million Jewish lives tragically lost at the hands of the Nazis and their collaborators. On this day of remembrance, let us not only mourn the lives lost, but especially amidst today's challenges for the people of Israel, also reflect on the resilience of the human spirit and the power of hope, compassion, and solidarity. Together, let us strive to build a world where such horrors can never again take place. #NeverForget #NeverAgain #HolocaustRemembranceDay"

Really well written article that helps to explain the Israeli narrative about the war. Israeli Jews and Diaspora Jews, particularly those in America, have vastly different experiences and collective memories, especially those that have forgotten or are too many generations removed from the atrocities of the Holocaust. So no, I don’t post this article to change your mind about the war, which is not as black and white as people make it out to be. I post this article to provide nuance and explore the gray; to educate those who wish to learn why Israel has reacted as it did on October 7, why it continues to fight to survive, and what the other side of the story is.
"As with the rest of our history, what the world will tolerate from us may be broad initially, but narrows quickly. Immediately after 10/7, Israel was given some latitude to go into Gaza and root out the Hamas savages who had murdered the most Jews in one day since the Holocaust. But international satisfaction with our actions, and what we would be allowed to do, quickly changed. The goalposts moved rapidly. Even fighting the most moral war in history, with the greatest efforts ever taken by major military power to avoid civilian casualties, was insufficient. We needed to prove that it was an Islamic Jihad rocket that hit a hospital, not us. We needed to prove that Hamas terrorists taken prisoner were treated humanely. We needed to prove that our children were burned alive in ovens, or raped by Palestinian terrorists. We needed to prove to the world, with video footage taken by the perpetrators themselves, that such crimes actually happened, since our word was just not good enough. The word of our captives was not good enough. The word of orphaned children, of widowed or raped women, was not good enough." My latest on Catch https://lnkd.in/gTAeaywX

The reality for us Jews is that we have a vocabulary of words that we inherit from the earliest age. We discover words like Holocaust, Genocide, Intifada, Antisemitism, Nazi… all the buzzwords and learn that none of these words are peace promoting or society building. We learn that all of these words equal destruction and lead to a breakdown of society. To all those ‘protestors’ chanting and posting, calling out the Israeli response to the October 7th invasion/ massacre and the ongoing hostage emergency, I encourage you to learn the meaning of the words you use and the trauma that they carry for us Jews. Learn about the expulsion of Jews from almost every country in the ancient world, the Spanish Inquisition, the beautiful towns, villages and cities in Europe that had their Jewish communities destroyed and burned in the gas chambers of Auschwitz during the Holocaust. Read from an unbiased source about the War of Independence when the Arab neighbor states seeked to kill a Survivor generation of the map simply for showing Jewish pride and returning home. Watch videos about the first and second intifada and the suicide bombings that shook our nation. Listen to testimonies from survivors of October 7th or released hostages. We must get this conversation back under control and transform it into a reasonable, adult debate with the aim of building a greater union for Jews, Arabs, and the world. #amyisraelchai #israel #israeli #bringthemhomenow #october7 Bring Them Home Now #antisemitism #holocaust #trauma #conversation #debate #adults #buzzwords

How many rivers of Palestinian blood need to flow before you feel cleansed of your guilt over the Holocaust? Anti-zionism is not anti-semitism. As a Jewish state requires the cleansing of the local, ancestral, non-jewish arabs majorities, it's impossible for it to be a democracy. And it inherently enables ethnic #cleansing and #genocide. And the best thing about genocide is: it is a very well defined crime. It's not a matter of feelings or opinion, there are well-defined criteria for it written in the #GenevaConvention on the prevention of genocide [1]. The South Africa report to the #ICJ clearly showed they all have been fulfilled in #Israel's appalling conduct of war. The worst crime of all possible crimes on Earth. [1] https://lnkd.in/ep-ksp8A

What is the problem Global Jewry is trying to address? ? We seek to bridge internal divides within the Jewish people and external challenges from those who wish to do us harm. History tells us that internecine disputes and factionalism of the Jewish people in 70 A.D. became so intense that they caused the destruction of the Second Temple and the start of the exile that did not end until the founding of the State of Israel in 1948. Much more recently, serious differences among the Jews of the world have arisen, and it is vital we do not let them escalate to the point of fracturing the unity of Jewish people once again. Externally, ever since the barbarous attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023, the Jewish people are confronting antisemitism all over the world at a breadth and depth unseen since the Holocaust. We will also address the emotional needs of Jewish individuals seeking a sense of belonging as well as an environment where they can engage with others looking for the same thing. We seek to dissolve feelings of uncertainty and division and we are committed to strategizing and implementing methods that transform concepts into tangible actions, providing both support and expertise. The time to connect and unite with one another has never been more important. Learn more about us at https://lnkd.in/eAZv7ayW.

A critical important read that is spot on.... Our governments and the international community are repeating the mistakes of the past.... Indeed this is how the Holocaust happened We must all choose civilization over barbarism... and each of us and all of us must do our part https://lnkd.in/e3Hc4AR9
The choice: civilisation or barbarism

Anyone wanting an authentic Torah perspective on the Holocaust is invited to read R. Avigdor Miller's book "A Divine Madness". From the overview: "At last, this remarkable work is available, describing as only Rabbi Miller could the shocking, disturbing origins of the Holocaust. Read the riveting story a nation estranged from its Creator, slipping farther and farther from Torah observance and towards its own annihilation." https://lnkd.in/dwUrf7Ja Never Again #GeulaProject
