SHMII-13 will be held in Graz- Austria next September 2025. This congress will include a mini symposium "Field Measurement for GeoStructres and structure/ground interaction" Structures rests in the ground by means of a foundation. That means that ground-structure interaction is of paramount importance to understand the whole behavior, as structural issues can be caused by structural problems, ground problems or a combination of both. This also leads to the existence of so-called geo-structures?such as site retaining walls, below-grade support of excavation walls, micropiles, slope reinforcement, ground anchors or deep foundation where?geotechnical and structural engineering fields blend, resulting in geostructural engineering. The aim of the mini symposium is to include the geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring perspective in the ground- foundation- ground/structure interaction monitoring for structural Health monitoring purposes. Accordingly, the mini symposium calls for abstracts related to the topics of the congress with focus on instrumentation and monitoring of geo-structures and ground-structure interaction The symposium is supported by TC220 (Field Monitoring in Geomechanics) of the ISSMGE.
