For this specific project, HQE competed in a 25 Siren upgrade project and won. After reviewing our advanced Unified Mass Notification System capabilities, the client decided to entirely rip out their existing system instead of a simple repair and upgrade. Imagine... the client was so frustrated with their existing siren system that was just installed in 2017...(I think in 2017) they were willing to spend the money to do it right the second time. We gave the client a heck of a discount as we knew this would hurt their overall operational budget. Why? Why not! If your existing sirens look like the other guys in this picture and you are having "repairs" issues, maybe it's also time for you to upgrade. Why? In the Sustainable Solutions Workshop at the Institute of Design (ID), Illinois Institute of Technology, led by Carlos Teixeira, Christopher Rudd, Ruth Schmidt, and Deaa Bataineh, a team of designers explored everyday infrastructural solutions in traffic management. ? Civic technology acts as a facilitator of government power. Focusing on how that power is wielded and expressed, we examined the civic technologies that Chicago’s government activates to police speeds, intersections, roads, and people. These infrastructures have been at the center of complex issues and inequities Chicago residents face. A solution-oriented approach was taken to imagine new systems embracing these complex issues through collective intelligence, civic infrastructures, and community empowerment. In this project, we envision a future where Chicago is a leader in providing all residents with a healthy, affordable, and thriving quality of life. A future where Chicago creates an empowering society through equity-driven civic infrastructures, the fair use of data, and an environmentally sustainable built environment. ? Since its launch, the Wireless Fire Industry Cooperative has played a major role in revising laws and systems of fire-fighting facilities, which were only for wired ones, in accordance with wireless fire detectors and systems. In the future, we have decided to actively cooperate at the union level in making RozeAI's cutting-edge technologies and systems widely available.
