Thrilled to be shortlisted for The Speaker Awards!! The inspiration behind the talk began when I was 10 years old and I experienced a potentially fatal bike accident which left me physically scarred for life. Fast forward 35 years and I know now (through my own hypnotherapy) that what led to the events of that fateful day was my desire to “fit in” and feel “good enough”. Rejection and shame is the biggest fear among the human population. It is this deep-rooted fear which leads to the lack of self-esteem, negative thought patterns and limiting behaviours that hold many people back from reaching their true capabilities. I now work with people of all ages to free them from the “root-causes” of their lack of confidence by teaching them how release and work with their minds. In this TEDx talk I explain how your subconscious mind can be viewed like a Stallion. Left to roam wild it can be very destructive, but if you, as the rider, can learn to calm and control that stallion, its potential for achievement is endless.
