What is the best public golf cancelation policy we have seen among all our ~300 courses using Noteefy ??? Palm Beach County takes the prize. ?? ?? Eric Garber, Eric Rein and the team have architected a fair, direct, policy that maximizes access, equity, and rounds. No shows are not acceptable when hundreds of other residents / public players would gladly pay rack rate for the time. They have an automated waitlist powered by Noteefy ?? in the foreUP Golf tee sheet which alerts golfers when cancelations occur. If someone no shows - it is $20 per person. The result is an incredible volume of rounds, minimal no shows, and happy golfers that know they have a fair shot. This is no different than going to a movie theater, where you will be charged if you no show. Same with a flight or hotel. I would love to see every operator use this approach. Ask golfers about proper etiquette at the halfway house and you might end up having a heated discussion. For some, it’s a welcome pit stop and refuel. For others, it fills them with dread because they fear being delayed while the group(s) in front grab a drink and a bite to eat. A bottleneck on a busy course has the potential for disaster, but the halfway house can also be an important revenue stream that your course relies on. How can you reduce the impact on course flow in the holes that follow and still generate that income? ? Let golfers know about your menu and any specials ? Prompt orders from them before they arrive at the halfway house ? Prepare the F&B so they can grab it on the go Using Tagmarshal’s 2Way cart screens, you can set up GPS-triggered alerts to display strategically during the round. F&B orders can be completed from the screens. You can also advertise: - Pro shop specials - Lessons with the Head Pro - Upcoming events Your golfers will appreciate being kept up to date with what is happening at your club.
