The proportionality mechanisms embedded in the?#ISSB Standards are designed to enable companies of varying degrees of capability and preparedness in a variety of markets?apply the ISSB Standards.?The application of ISSB Standards?results in?the provision of globally comparable?sustainability-related financial?information?that is fit for purpose and suited to every jurisdiction and to every company, including the smaller?companies?that form an important part of the global supply chain.? ? Proportionality mechanisms, among other factors, play a role in enabling organisations like the?PAN AFRICAN FEDERATION OF ACCOUNTANTS (PAFA) to support the implementation and adoption of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 through its Sustainability Centre of Excellence (CoE).?The CoE is testament to PAFA's dedication to promoting good governance, transparency, accountability,?and sustainable value creation across Africa, as well as testament to the suitability of ISSB Standards for a variety of regions and companies globally. ?
