Every year on March 18th, is designated as Global Recycling Day. It's a day to spread knowledge about the value of recycling and how it affects the ecosystem. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has officially acknowledged the day, which was first observed in 2018 by the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR).
