Five seminars in five weeks. 20 days of Applied Vehicle Dynamics and Data Driven Performance Engineering Seminars. Part 3. Applied Vehicle Dynamics to car concept, simulation, design, manufacturing, testing and development. Delft, The Netherlands, January 19th to 22nd. We had four FIA engineers, an F4 chief engineer, a system engineer, a race engineer and students from TU Eindhoven, ECAM LaSalle Lyon, PHWT Diepholz, Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, Warsaw University of Technology, and Universit?t Stuttgart L.T. (Student): “It gave me a lot of additional knowledge and a different perspective when I saw concrete examples used in practice versus technical books. It was definitely worth the money and the knowledge imparted and issues addressed were explained very well. I rate the quality at a very high professional level, providing me to connect the dots in each of topics.” V.B. (Student): “It was very physically demanding, but not mentally! Thanks to the Claude's very good explanations, every new information was very gratifying to hear. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. As a FS team member, I must say, that the amount of gained knowledge was so vast, that it was the most worth it thing I've ever done in my life! Quantity? A lot! It will take some time before I can soak up all the information presented to us at the seminar, but I can easily go back, read it as many times as I want, which is the greatest benefit of the binders. Without them, I would have inevitably lost the overall picture in a matter of a few weeks. Thank you for providing them! Quality? Extraordinary! As we don't learn Vehicle Dynamics at school, nor do we have anyone who could properly teach us, our only option was to read books about vehicle dynamics. Some things just can't be taught only by books. With the explanations and examples from reality, this seminar heavily elevated our knowledge about VD.” D.D (Performance engineer)” “Location was good, general planning of each day and the seminar as a whole was clear. Claude's explanation was very good. The atmosphere with other attendees was also really good too. The diversity of the topics (tires, aero etc) and the time spent on each topic was good. When something was unclear, Claude took plenty of time to elaborate.” P.W. (Student): “Real Stories parallel to the theory to have real examples. Good buildup of the whole topic and a clear structure in the seminar. Claude tried to explain every question no matter if it's not the actual topic.

Ever thought about how microlearning could have revolutionized the jet engine industry? Back in the late '80s and early '90s, I was a mechanical engineer designing jet engine parts. But, I'm struck by a vivid memory - incredibly skilled mechanical engineers who were masters of their specific parts but lacked a holistic understanding of jet engine operations. Imagine if, back then, these engineers had something we take for granted today: microlearning apps on mobile phones. What a transformation it would have been. Daily, bite-sized lessons on jet engine operations would have been seamlessly integrated into their design thinking. This spaced-repetition method would have been a game-changer, enriching their understanding of how each individual part plays a critical role in the overall design, maintenance, and functionality of the engine. Fast forward to the present, and I can't help but think what an incredible project this would be.
