2025 - What will this year bring for women in leadership? Hopefully more parity, more female role models, and further reductions in the gender pay gap. I've been championing women for 30 years now in Lancashire and nationally and though there has been much progress, still, only 35% of our senior managers in the UK are female, even though many more women than men enter management (64%). What still needs to change? More affordable childcare? More part time senior roles? More flexibility re hours? The RISE programme which Katy Mason mba and I deliver for East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, is the only tailored women's leadership programme that looks at the whole picture and includes debate, proven ideas to support women's advancement at work, resilience and confidence building and of course, a raft of leadership and coaching skills.
