Today, on World Suicide Prevention Day, we’re reminded of the importance of taking care of each other—not just as coworkers, but as a family. At Insight Global, our Shared Value "We Take Care of Each Other" goes beyond the workplace. It's deeply woven into who we are. In the spirit of taking care of each other, check on someone you're concerned about. Tell that person how much they mean to you. Be quick to give words of encouragement or acts of service. Share a smile. Share a hug. An estimated 10.6 million adults in the U.S. reported having suicidal thoughts in the past year. You may be one of them. You matter and there are resources available to you. If you or someone you know is struggling, the 988 Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support throughout the U.S. and Canada. Purple and teal are the official colors of Suicide Awareness. Today, Insight Global employees are wearing purple to spread awareness and spark conversation on this important topic. ??
Ouch. I am calling bogus on you guys for this. My recruiter from Insight Global who had to tell me the company I was contracted with was dissolving the entire remote team I was hired for, left me completely in the dark. I had moved my son and I to freedom, and as a result of losingthe job (with 2 weeks notice) I lost our home. But what I will always remember is my recruiter never reached out to me after that to talk about other roles. You would have thought they would want to put me in something right away. I was so wrong. Of course losing our home caused my suicidal thoughts to come out. It took a lot of willpower to get this single mom out of the pits of despair. Beware, if you use this company, do not expect any care for your human side. Here you are just a number. But hey that’s business.
