IT'S GREAT TO BE A TEACHER! Yet another ELTA Serbia conference is over, and here are my two main conclusions: ? Serbian EL teachers are very curious, well-informed, and they keep up with trends, some of them even creating them, and this made me very proud. If I compare IATEFL 2024 conference with thousands of teachers from all over the world, I can confidently say that we are neck to neck :) ? The attendance was lower than last year, and there are a couple of conclusions that I can draw: either teachers found it costly or they failed to see the benefits of it. Both cases make me really sad, since I deeply believe in supporting and contributing to our national organization which has been sailing through both rough seas and calm waters for a very long time, and has done so with dignity and uncompromised quality :) As for my workshop called 'How to create a course that sells', it was definitely fun, and I hope I shed some unorthodox light on the stigma of creating, and even more, selling our courses.
