Brussels, 03 March - At a time of global turbulence, Maike Asmussen from Merck Group and Mitsuhiro Murooka from NEC Corporation presented the #EUJapanBRT’s 2025 recommendations entitled “Japan & the EU – Global Partnership in a Changing World” to Stéphane Séjourné who received them on behalf of the European Commission. Ambassador Aikawa from the Mission of Japan to the EU witnessed the handover. During the meeting, Ms Asmussen and Mr Murooka outlined the main points from the BRT’s 26th annual meeting (https://lnkd.in/gEiA97ge). Together with EVP Séjourné and Ambassador Aikawa, they discussed the importance of economic security, industrial competitiveness, #EUJapan cooperation in scientific research via #HorizonEurope and how this will help strengthen the global economy.
