The superbowl of employee benefits has arrived -?MetLife's 2024 Employee Benefits Trend Study is out! Thank you?Mark Heintzman?for sharing and your continued insight. One cant help but reflect on the state of our country and world to understand how many employers and employees are feeling. This study seems to be a direct reflection on our times but gives light to where employers can go with employee benefits to get to a better place of wellness, happiness and fulfillment. Below are some highlights I found to be impactful - if you are interested in learning more or want a copy of the study please reach out! - 55% of worked say they are living paycheck to paycheck, up from 43% in 2022 - Employers see these as the top benefits to demonstrate that they care about employees: Home Insurance, Pet insurance, Access to subsidized care, Cancer insurance, Commuter benefits -Employers are mistaken on how well they care for their employees-Consider that 87% of employer believe that their organization currently demonstrates care, while only 65% of employees agree. - Despite employer efforts in expanding their offerings, the gap between what employees want and what the employer provides is widening-bridging that gap is critical to enhancing employee satisfaction with benefits-which reached its lowest level in a decade - Employees want affordability, access, and options when looking at their total benefit package #employeebenefits?#insurance?#wellness?#retention?#HR
