?? The Key Traits for Early-Stage Success - Daniel Wild?? In venture capital, identifying founders who are driven and resilient is crucial, especially in the early stages. As Daniel Wild, Partner at Tiburon, puts it: "If I wake you at four o’clock in the morning and ask you about your business, can you shoot back the answer? That’s the kind of drive we look for." ?? Drive is what sets successful founders apart. Whether it’s from professional sports, past experiences, or pure passion, that internal motivation is key to thriving in the startup world. And then there’s resilience. “We check for markers in their past to see how they have handled challenges,” Daniel explains. It’s not about having an easy path, it’s about how founders navigate adversity and keep pushing forward. ?? #VentureCapital #StartupSuccess #Drive #Resilience #EarlyStageStartups #Tiburon #DanielWild #Entrepreneurship #OvercomingChallenges #BusinessMotivation #EntrepreneurialMindset #Determination #BusinessSuccessTips #EntrepreneurialJourney #WhatsInStoreShow #GonzaloPerez #VC

Nail your big idea: Articulate the opportunity in 90 seconds or less ? ?Execute: Explain how you’ll take your big idea and actually make it happen ?? Know your numbers: How big is the market? The three pillars Kevin O'Leary puts out are really it. But look at his first pillar (nail your big idea) as the chance to point out what's wrong or missing in the world. For instance, many years ago, Steve Jobs introduced the 'mouse' as something that was needed (or missing) so that people could work easier and faster. They now could 'click' on something to get things done. With other words, no one asked for a mouse. Steve told you that you needed it. Start your pitch with that question. What's my product (read: idea) fixing? Answer to yourself (preferably in front of a mirror): "Why is it that ............? What if we fix that by ...........?" and the pitch will roll along from there.

Address the "so what?" factor: Explain the real-world impact and benefits of your product for your target audience. This connects your idea to tangible outcomes, making it more compelling and memorable for potential investors or partners. Steve Jobs was the expert at this.
