Association's mission of cultivating character, health, and income from the ground up. Teaming up with the National Men in Ag. and Women in Ag. Associations, they support new farmers through mentoring and giving back. Emphasizing values from age 6, NWIAA aims to foster responsible citizens and farmers, breaking generational barriers with classes focusing on leadership, integrity, and community service. Led by African American college graduates, corporate women, and farming business leaders, NWIAA is dedicated to creating positive changes for present and future generations. Goal of this Innovative Agriculture Class: 1) To change mindsets to a community-driven focus; 2) To educate and inspire all ages to grow, purchase, and eat locally grown foods; 3) To teach how to become involved in USDA programs; and 4) To break generational curses of poverty.
