During recent discussions, I realised the term MVP needs to be revisited. The Minimum Viable Product is a great idea to ensure we get into production at the earliest. However, we need to be clear on the viability part. It is not the viability from an engineering teams perspective, rather viability from a business perspective that needs to be at the core here. Just because something can be deployed into production does not mean that it makes business viability. It is essential, rather imperative for all teams to take notice of this. Peace.
