This year's Government Information Sharing Network GOVIS Incorporated event "Trust to Innovate" has a koan-like vibe to it, given that #trust has both a verb and noun sense. I'm lucky enough to be workshopping with Doug Lambert and Erica Voss at the most excellent National Library of New Zealand on Aug 5. Because we're responsible hosts and don't overstuff the working tables, extra chairs have been hidden ?? There are 10 seats left and the range of attendees ensures some good serendipity at the tables. The topic brief covers: ?? How did we develop a tailored approach that worked well? ? What was the impact of what worked well? ?? What didn't work so well and why do we think it didn't work well? ?? What are some useful resources we can share? I'm excited. I workshopped at GOVIS a couple of years back and the room was sitting on its hands somewhat, unconvinced that change was-a-coming. Now we have changes in the GCDx #datagovernance nodes, an utterly data ravenous AI technology and complex third-party complications on a sometimes-thin ? social licence basis. I hope to see some familiar faces in the room which is convened with the Chatham House Rule.
