? Boss text scams are on the rise ? Someone in my network receive a message impersonating me. The message goes: Hi <name>, let me know when you receive my text. Alex P. Founder of the Financial Club --- With scams becoming more sophisticated I keep asking myself, can the networks do more to protect their customers? Always check the number you receive texts from, if it's not saved in your contacts, double check with your peers before replying. Needless to say that if you received a message from me that eventually asks you to purchase gift cards or provide a payment via a link, it's a scam! Perhaps fraud and financial crime fighting pros like Soups Ranjan, Trisha Kothari, Erin West, Ari Redbord or others might have suggestions on how to stay safe from these types of scams?
