Was great to present at Jefferies this year with my colleagues Margaret Ayers and Chris Meier, as well as Jovana Jordanova and Lee Spacagna from OpenAI. There is significant value at stake from GenAI for Pharma, but scaling solutions is hard. We shared learnings from those that did, and typical challenges from GenAI transformations that did not deliver on their promised value. Spoiler: It is largely down to not enough emphasis on people & process elements of the GenAI enabled functional transformations; technology or data are rarely the culprit.
