I am thrilled to share some recent work using the PHAST software to analyze gas dispersion under varying wind conditions. PHAST is a powerful tool for assessing the potential impacts of hazardous gas releases, ensuring safety, and mitigating risks in industrial environments. In this study, I simulated gas dispersion for two different wind speed and stability scenarios: - 2/F - 5/D Higher wind speeds tend to disperse the gas more horizontally, while lower wind speeds and stable conditions confine the plume more vertically. #PHAST #GasDispersion

Maicon Ramos, from Siemens Canada, presented an impressive study comparing #EMTP? and #PSS?E using WECC generic models in a wind power plant. PSS?E, known for its robust capabilities and often considered the gold standard for comparison, had a simple model that was still more comprehensive. Despite this, EMTP? achieved nearly identical results in a series of acceptance tests, demonstrating its efficiency and accuracy for project estimation and basic design. This makes it particularly valuable for older projects with limited data. ?? Of this, 802 kilometers is accounted for by #pipelines from 16 other potential #hydrogennetworkoperators (#distributionnetworkoperators ).” “The #corenetwork consists mainly of converted #naturalgaspipelines (approximately 60%), and the investment costs amount to €19.7 billion.
