Looking at my LinkedIn work experience, you must be thinking—kaise ek HR Intern se HR Manager se ab Growth Marketing Manager ban gaya? Well, let me share the story. ?? It was the end of my second year in college, and honestly, corporate 9-to-5 life was never on my to-do list. Lekin kya karein? College pressure, career ki tension, aur woh “kuch toh karna chahiye” waala feeling. So, I decided to give it a try. I landed my first internship as an HR Associate at 1HR Solutions. On my first day, i had a good discussion with the team, after which I thought, “Thik hai, kar lete hain. Kitna bura ho sakta hai?” But while returning alone in the metro that evening, I kept asking myself, “Yeh sahi decision hai ya chill college life continue karni chahiye?” But I stuck with it. Har din West Delhi se South Delhi se Noida jaana (aur wapas) felt like an adventure in itself. ?? But two months flew by, and those two months taught me a lot: ?? My communication skills improved. ?? I got comfortable in the HR space. ?? And I realized that while this wasn’t my final destination, it was definitely an important stepping stone. By the end of my second month, I was promoted to an HR Manager—which felt good. ?? Mujhe tab bhi pata tha ki HR industry meri endgame nahi hai, but those experiences laid the foundation for where I am today. Your first internship always leaves a mark, doesn’t it?
