While alternative methods like Construction Manager at Risk (CM-R), Design-Build, and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) offer more collaboration and efficiency, their adoption has been slower than expected. While technology, like building information modeling (BIM), has pushed for change, success ultimately comes down to communication and trust, not just the contract.
