ONE9 SMFI Portfolio company, goTenna Pro, announced today they were awarded a $15M #AFWERX Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract to develop Commercial Off-The-Shelf (CoTS) capabilities to enable communications connectivity solutions for the U.S Air Force. goTenna is the world's leading mobile #meshnetworking company, providing off-grid connectivity solutions for smartphones and other devices, as well as augmenting traditional communications networks. This technology enables mobile, long-range connectivity without cell, wifi, or satellite connectivity. "This contract will enable goTenna to further optimize our commercial off the shelf mesh radio capabilities to better support Air Force and Department of Defense missions," said goTenna CEO Ari Schuler. #NationalSecurity, South Korea has banned the use of the iPhone in the military. Recently, a group of senior South Korean army officers, who wished to remain anonymous, told the media that the South Korean Air Force headquarters posted an announcement on the army's internal web server on April 11. The announcement was more or less along the lines of the Republic of Korea Army's order to completely ban, as of June 1, any device capable of recording audio and unable to control the corresponding function through a third-party application (app), including the iPhone among the regulated targets. According to the document, the decision to ban iPhones in the military came from joint meetings held by the headquarters of the Army, Navy and Air Force, located at Gyeryongdae in South Chungcheong Province. The document also read, "There has been an ongoing review regarding the potential extension of this ban to all subordinate units," with the Army headquarters having conducted the ban on a trial basis since April. If the ban is extended, it will likely go beyond the Gyeryongdae area to encompass all other units across the nation. Currently, about 10,000 personnel, including some 6,000 officers, are estimated to be on duty at the Gyeryongdae defense center alone. For security reasons, the exact number is not disclosed to the public. If the ban is extended to all subordinate units, it would affect almost 500,000 military personnel. According to the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses, a think tank under the Defense Ministry, the total number of military personnel is 499,8000 as of 2022, including 365,000 in the Army, 69,800 in the Navy and 65,000 in the Air Force. https://lnkd.in/dvviqb_x

Israel, two more weeks of this nightmare and weak administration in our country, so your country can rebuild your trust in the USA.
