I had to stop running from my full potential and truly embrace God's call on my life. As a Black woman in leadership, I wear many hats—business owner, college adjunct professor/dissertation advisor, daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly, a child of God. Each role challenges me to lead with integrity, grace, and resilience, not just for myself but for the people I am called to serve.
With the upcoming presidential elections, we are standing on the cusp of another pivotal moment in history. As citizens, we must engage. But as representatives of God’s Kingdom, we must be mindful of how we engage. In a climate where division feels more prevalent than unity, it's easy to lose sight of the bigger picture: the collective good. My church has been anchoring our hearts and minds in this truth, as our current sermon series entitled "Is God Divided?" emphasizes unity—encouraging us to focus more on what brings us together than what pulls us apart.
This message couldn’t be more timely. Whether in the boardroom, the classroom, or the voting booth, my commitment is to lead in a way that reflects the love, justice, and wisdom of God. We are called to pursue righteousness, not by amplifying political differences, but by seeking shared goals that uplift humanity. As I continue to step boldly into the leadership roles I’ve been entrusted with, I’m reminded that true leadership lies in building bridges, not walls.
We are all working toward a purpose bigger than ourselves, and our nation is in desperate need of that perspective right now. Let’s model unity and lead with vision, embracing diversity of thought but never letting that divide us from our collective mission.
Our impact is most powerful when we stand together, driven by faith, conviction, and a vision for a better future for all.

4 个月HEATHER COX RICHARDSON OCT 26th newsletter focused on Fascism historically. Really scary how it creeps in and some ignore the signs. I heard John Kelly live on air define Fascism?agreed that his former boss, (DT), had fascist tendencies. Then the Joe Rogen interview He is saying this about us good people: “We have a bigger problem... we have an enemy from within. We have people that are really bad, people that I really think want to make this country unsuccessful.” Following this, the WP summarizes "Trump says domestic foes worse than Kim Jung Un..." and another speech he said he would send the National Guard and even the military and punish his enemies. That is a Fascist threat.
