Day 5 of the PANS, Uniben leadership institute was a success!!. The training session was taken by David Dosu who is an Erasmus Mundus Physics Scholar and a brilliant innovative mind. Some key points I picked from the session were: 1. The question you should ask yourself before executing ideas shouldn't be "what if I fail?" but rather "what if I win?" 2. Inorder to become a person that people want, you have to build leverage -Media leverage -Capital leverage -Labour leverage 3. You cannot be poor and not be able to shamelessly put yourself out there. This year, I am leading the EURASHE Leadership Forum on 23 May, following?the 33rd Annual Conference ‘Stronger Together – Fostering Transnational Cooperation in Applied Universities’ in FH St. P?lten – University of Applied Sciences, Austria. I'm looking forward to working with a select group of university leaders to explore the dynamics of transnational cooperation. Our discussions will explore questions such as: - Transnational and trans-institutional learning for regional engagement: How can university leaders use transnational cooperation to strengthen institutional engagement with regional challenges? - Strategic reflection on barriers to cooperation: What are the organisational challenges to effective transnational cooperation and what can university leaders do to overcome them? - Peer learning among university leaders: How can university leaders support each other in meeting the challenges of internal, regional and European engagement?
