Designing four of the official 2030 World Cup venues ? It's official, FIFA has just announced the official host cities for the 2030 World Cup: Morocco, Spain and Portugal, and that the three opening matches will be played in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. ? We are honored to be behind the project for four of them: The?San Mamés stadium, which has been in use for ten years and did not need to be adapted to host the World Cup; the?Spotify Camp Nou, which has undergone a major transformation to accommodate 104,000 spectators and is a candidate to host the final; the?Más Monumental stadium?of the River Plate Athletic Club (Argentina), where we have removed the athletics track to convert it into a soccer-specific stadium, with continuous stands and new seating for 84,500 spectators; and the?New Romareda, the only new stadium in Spain for the 2030 World Cup, with 42,500 seats. ? In recent weeks, we have presented our work on these stadiums at three different forums: the Coliseum Summit LATAM 2024 in Monterrey, the TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Summit 2024 in Manchester and the GoLatam Summit 2024 in Santiago de Chile. Tenemos el honor de estar detrás del proyecto de cuatro de ellas: El estadio?San Mamés, que hace ya una década que está en funcionamiento y no ha tenido que sufrir ninguna reforma para albergar el Mundial;??el?Spotify Camp Nou, sometido a una remodelación integral para albergar 104.000 espectadores, y ser candidata a celebrar la final; el estadio?Más Monumental, del?Club Atlético River Plate (Argentina), donde hemos eliminado la pista de atletismo?para convertirlo en estadio específico de fútbol, con gradas continuas y asientos nuevos para 84.500 espectadores. La remodelación incluye además los espacios de hospitalidad; y la?Nueva Romareda,?el?único estadio de nueva construcción en Espa?a para la celebración del Mundial 2030, con 42.500 asientos. ?
