In 2019, I listened to Brittany Packnett Cunningham give a #TEDtalk on the power of confidence. Confidence gives you freedom to accomplish great things by simply believing you are capable. It is when you dream of something big, create the vision, and implement it, even through uncertainty and fear. Learning the skill of confidence began in 2018 for me, and seeing this TEDtalk, reaffirmed that I was putting effort in the right things, even when it felt uncomfortable. ''Without confidence we get stuck, and when we get stuck, we don't get started" - Britanny P C I love how Brittany puts it in perspective ; to grow confidence, you need permission to create it, community to nurture it, and curiosity to affirm it. In reflection, I feel grateful that daily I get the chance to speak with brilliant people. I get the chance to test and reaffirm my confidence in the kind of value I provide in this space and to push my limits. I get inspired by the accomplishments of industry leaders that prove you can outdo yourself with the right mindset. #community #futureleaders #mindset

Confidence begins when we give ourselves permission to be imperfect, to fail, and to learn. Only then can we fully show up as our authentic selves. Community nurtures it. Confidence thrives in a supportive environment. Surround yourself with people who challenge, uplift, and encourage you to take bold steps toward your goals. We grow stronger together. Curiosity affirms it. Confidence doesn’t mean having all the answers, but rather being open to exploration, learning, and growth. Curiosity creates opportunities to expand our knowledge and strengthen our belief in ourselves. It would be our greatest shame to see our best ideas go unrealized and our brightest dreams go unreached—all because we lacked the engine of confidence. Let’s give ourselves the permission, the community, and the curiosity to make those dreams a reality.
