Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and Rotary Club Of Madras - India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (#MoU) to establish the “IITM-Rotary Centre of Social Development.” The collaboration aims to serve as a hub for assessing, designing, and implementing impactful social development projects across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Puducherry. The Centre will also provide comprehensive impact assessments for long-term CSR initiatives, focusing on measurable outcomes. This #GandhiJayanti, My Clean City by HCLFoundation celebrated the spirit of Swachhata across Noida and Greater Noida cities. Nearly 110 volunteers including students, shopkeepers, and sanitation workers gathered across Okhla Bird Sanctuary and Delta 2 market to collect 120kgs of waste. Additionally, many volunteers swept through the market and surrounding areas cleaning and painting red spot zones and Garbage Vulnerable Points reinforcing the mission for a cleaner community. A series of interactive activities engaged 560 students from Shanti Devi Kanya Vidyalay and Public Inter College. These students participated in rallies, essay and slogan writing competitions, channelling their creativity into powerful messages for village sanitation. To conclude the celebrations, a health camp was organised for sanitation workers where we distributed PPE kits to 60 workers, honouring their commitment and dedication. Together, we are keeping Gandhi’s vision for a cleaner India alive. Let’s continue working towards a brighter, cleaner future! A comprehensive strategy is essential for the transformative journey of education towards #ViksitBharat @2047, with a focus on academic excellence alongside moral and ethical education. At Mahindra Susten, our Gyandeep program is aligned with this government mission, contributing to the nation's progress toward becoming a developed country. As a business, we are building #renewableenergy projects and supporting the nation's green energy goals. However, many of these projects are in rural areas where communities often lack basic necessities such as healthcare, infrastructure, and education. To address challenges realted to education, we have designed our #Gyandeep programs to promote the overall development of the education infrastructure where we operate. One of our key focus areas under the "Gyandeep" is enhancing the basic education infrastructure around our renewable energy sites. By improving the facilities of government schools near our project locations, we aim to nurture students to become positive change-makers in their communities. We are pleased to share recent initiative to improving the education infrastructure near our 250 MW Rewa Ultra Solar Park project in Badwar Village, MP. Through this Gyandeep Program, we have impacted approximately 9 schools, touching over 2,100 students across our portfolio. Last year, we created something truly special through our community engagement program “ Gyandeep”, touching the lives of over 1,500 students across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh. By transforming 3 nos. schools’ infrastructure and building 1 no. STEAM lab with assistance from our implementation partner Ennoble Social Innovation we empowered these students to dream bigger and achieve more. Each smile is a spark, a reminder of our purpose: "Re-imagining Clean Energy, Empowering Lives." These aren’t just children—they are the future leaders, scientists, and changemakers. Their joy, their confidence, and their aspirations are the truest measure of our success. Here is one such story from our transformation from the heart of Badwar, Rewa, at the Government ESG School near our RUMSL (Rewa Ultra Mega Solar) Park. We witnessed the transformation firsthand.
