Something that I thought was interesting. Hanwha Vision camera's were used during the Olympics to help with the preparation for events. They are being used during the Paralympics as well! TecCheck (Technical Check) is a structured process that ensures that assistive devices meet eligibility criteria and assesses the risks associated with pilots and environments. Neutral technical examiners, appointed by CYBATHLON, conduct this confidential verification. A predefined process designed to systematically verify that an assistive device fulfils the general and discipline-specific eligibility criteria, and to examine the risks for the pilots and their environment related to using the assistive device. The TecCheck is conducted by neutral technical examiners appointed by the CYBATHLON organising committee who will keep the provided information confidential. Yesterday, we faced a setback. We lost a potential partnership in the lift industry that we have been working on for a long time, an opportunity that could have significantly boosted Sims4Lifts. My first reaction? "OUCH", that hurt! But after reflecting, I found a silver lining. I realized it’s better to know where we stand & eliminate uncertainty. In my previous post, I talked about closing opportunities in December and embracing clarity. Even when the answer is “no,” it brings focus and allows to plan with confidence. This experience gives us valuable insights to approach the next opportunity stronger. And speaking of wins, The December strategy is already delivering results! We secured a fantastic deal yesterday with a lift company managing 1,300 lifts, where 60% still need GSM conversion due to the BT Analogue line switch off in January 2027. Every setback teaches us something new, and every win reaffirms the value of persistence. Onward and upward!

On Nov. 20, SCAG hosted the first Freight Industry Forum, gathering a diverse set of participants—including the Games Mobility Executive partners, SCAG regional partners, industry stakeholders, and other agency representatives—to discuss the upcoming 2028 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. The meeting included overviews of logistics planning for the 2028 Games and lessons learned from past Olympic Games in Paris and London. Industry stakeholders want to ensure that 2028 Games event locations and routes are well understood and that communication is clear before and during the event. SCAG's Freight Industry Forum will continue to advise in preparations leading up to the 2028 Games. SCAG is looking forward to continuing the dialogue and engagement as the region collaborates in preparation for the 2028 Games. The next Freight Industry Forum is anticipated for this winter.
