Defence Expo 2024. DRDO organized a meeting during the Maharashtra MSME Defence Expo 2024 to update industries about its initiatives and policies and address industry concerns. DRDO handed over 23 Licensing Agreements for the Transfer of Technology to 22 industries covering various domains. SAMAR assessment certificates were given to nine Industry Partners as a benchmark to measure the competency of defence manufacturing enterprises. DR Kamat reiterated DRDO’s commitment to support the development of Indian defence industries for Aatmanirbhar Bharat. An open house session was organized for industries to express their challenges and expectations.
