This umbrella stroller was a hand-me-down from some friends. It made it through our 5-year-old and is currently the vehicle of choice for our 2-year-old. We have a fancier one that sometimes comes out for longer excursions. But 90% of the time we just use this. And it works great. It's easy to manuever, it's easy to transport, and it's easy for Ferris to push when he decides he wants to drive and not ride. It's compelling when I watch other parents lug around their big fancy strollers that take up a bunch of space and get stuck and don't really do a better job then ours. ... A reminder that often you don't need a lot of bells and whistles in a good tool. You just need a tool that does the job. #sales #salestechstack
The fact that the stroller has lasted so long and works so well for both your 5-year-old and your 2-year-old speaks for itself. It's a nice reminder that the best things aren't always the most complicated. Keep having fun with this handy little helper and the many adventures to come! ??
Great to hear you are getting a lot of milage out of it. It is very satisfying to be able to get the most out the tools available ??
The stroller days are done for me, but I preferred our umbrella stroller as well! Ours even had a basket and a sun visor, so it was kind of the best of both worlds in a small package.
If it works, it stays; if it works for long it stays longer. ??
Sounds like that stroller deserves its own spot in the Sales Hall of Fame! ???? Sometimes, it's the simple tools that get the job done best. ??
Totally agree. Loved our umbrella stroller. So easy to transport and to toss in the back of the car when kids are running all around!

5 个月Pretty apropos of your post the other day on the Sales Tech Stack, Todd. When I took this photo (over at the Chicago Botanic Gardens), I had just watched an overloaded mom wrangle a stroller that sat two across, had a big container on the bottom, and was probably of space-age titanium. And none of her kids were in it :-(
