??Helloo Connections ! ??Day 2 Highlights: IoT Workshop Journey Excited to share the enriching hands-on experience I had on Day->2 of the lot Design Workshop! Today, my teammates and I explored new dimensions of loT applications using the ESP32 and a variety of sensors. Here's what we accomplished: Activity 7 ?? Soil Moisture Sensor Measured soil moisture levels. Determined whether the soil is wet or dry and printed the results. Activity 8 ?? Servo Motor Control Rotated the servo motor between 0°-90° and back with a 2-second delay. Programmed the motor to rotate to 90° when the soil was dry and return to 0° when wet. Activity 9 ?? Ultrasonic Sensor Calculated the distance to an object using ultrasonic waves. Activity 10 ?? DHT Sensor Measured temperature and humidity values accurately. Activity 11 ?? Gas sensor To Read gas value and print it serial monitor by gas sensor Activity 12 ?? ESP32 Wi-Fi Module Connect In Built WiFi of ESP32 to mobile network or WiFi Hotspot. Each activity provided valuable insights into loT development, from environmental monitoring to automation and communication technologies. I am thrilled to share that I, along with my friends successfully showcased our final year project: "ADVANCED IRON MACHINE PROTOTYPE WITH 3-STAGE SAFETY." This innovative design aims to prevent cloth damage, reduce power consumption, and avoid major accidents at the time of User's absent mind. About the Advanced Iron Machine Prototype: Our project is designed to address common issues like accidental overheating of clothes and power wastage, especially due to user negligence. Here's how it works: A. MPU-6050 IMU: The MPU-6050 module includes a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope. Accelerometer: Measures acceleration (rate of change in velocity). Gyroscope: Measures rotational velocity (rad/s). The MPU-6050 continuously monitors the position of the iron. If the iron remains idle in either a horizontal or vertical position for a certain period, the relay module automatically cuts off the power supply. B. ESP32: Serves as the microcontroller to manage the system. C. Relay Module: Acts as a power line switch to control the iron. D. Buzzer: Provides an early warning to the user, prompting them to disconnect the iron when not in use. E. LED Bulb: Indicates whether the IoT server is successfully connected via Wi-Fi. F. IoT (Blynk App): Enables the user to remotely switch off the iron through their Android or desktop device when alerted via a notification. Key Features: Our project provides 3-stage safety: Auto Power Cut-Off: Automatically disconnects the power supply to prevent overheating. Alarm System: Alerts the user with a buzzer when the iron is idle for too long. IoT-Based Remote Control: Allows users to remotely switch off the iron upon receiving a safety alert. The main objective of this project is to ensure maximum safety, reduce power consumption, and prevent major accidents.
