It's staggering to say this in 2024, but women-owned businesses like Atrium are still in the minority. When we opened our doors nearly thirty years ago, I knew our approach to workforce management and talent solutions was unique. What I didn’t realize was how rare companies like ours would be three decades later: ??According to the Women Business Collaborative, women make up 66% of the workforce at staffing firms, but only half of executive positions and just 33% of board seats ??Outside of the staffing world, women make up 50.7% of the college-educated workforce in the U.S., but only 10.6% are CEOs of the Fortune 500 So the fact that Atrium has been included on Staffing Industry Analysts' annual list of Diversity-Owned Staffing Firms again for 2024 matters: https://bit.ly/4ch6OSX We hold a special place in this industry and I hope through our example, the next generation of female leaders will rise to join us. #Atrium #WBENC #WomenOwned

The Women Business Collaborative's groundbreaking initiative is making waves in the business world! Our 2023 study, conducted in partnership with the American Staffing Association, NAPS - National Association of Personnel Services, Staffing Industry Analysts, and TechServe Alliance, has been featured in Biz Women. ?? The study sheds light on the challenges women face in securing leadership roles despite constituting 66% of staffing firms' internal staff. Alarmingly, only half of executive positions and 33% of board seats are occupied by women, indicating a 3% drop in board representation from the previous year. HCA's Taylor Linke, MBA, LSSBB, Director of IT Innovation and Customer Experience, joined a panel of four female leaders at "Women Transforming Government: Leading in times of transition." She and the panelists talked about strategies for leading change in organizations and lessons learned. Other panelists included representation from the Employment Security Division, Department of Enterprise Services, and the City of Seattle. Change is an ever-present part of life and work. As women leaders, we are faced with many types of transitions, workforce changes, and ever evolving technologies.
