“Kindred Worlds: The Priscila and Alvin Hudgins Collection” concluded in the best way possible last Sunday, with a special visit from The Museum of Modern Art’s Black Art Council! We were honored to welcome 20 members of the council and exhibition curator Alyssa Alexander, along with Joeonna Bellorado-Samuels, Senior Director of Jack Shainman Gallery, and Alayah Glenn, Senior Development & Special Programming Officer, Black Arts Council. For many members of the BAC it was their first time visiting the Hudson River Museum. They enjoyed the exhibition, as well as a discussion about collecting art, and a special reception in #HRMGlenview, our Gilded Age historic home. Thank you to all who joined us!
