?? What an incredible Intern Team Building Day we had at Crabbe yesterday for our 2024 Government of Jersey Internship Programme!?? A huge thank you to Gemma McGregor the Jersey Youth Service, our wonderful colleagues at CYPES, and my amazing colleagues in the Talent Team for making this event such a success. The group of 41 interns who attended learned a range of invaluable skills, including: Effective Communication: Understanding the importance of clear and concise communication in a team setting. Problem-Solving: Developing creative solutions to overcome challenges. Teamwork: Building trust and working collaboratively to achieve common goals. Leadership: Taking initiative and guiding peers through various activities. Adaptability: Adjusting to new situations and thinking on their feet. It was awesome to see everyone working together across departments to produce this amazing event. Grateful for the opportunity to bond, grow, and have fun together. Since 2020 my love for the summer time has grown. Why? Because 2020 was the first summer I was able to host summer interns in New York at my business Vision Street Research LLC. Our internship program is one of the ways we deliver on our commitment to #WorkforceDevelopment.? Last week, A new summer intern Vision Street Research , Cle-Andre' Stewart, had the pleasure of speaking with Jonathan Prevost, MPA Senior Associate at The Pew Charitable Trusts. Throughout his discussion with Cle-Andre', Mr. Prevost spoke about several ways to promote self growth, especially on a professional level.
