I’ve always been a big believer in giving youngsters a chance, where others dont either trust or believe they are capable to do the work of experienced people. It’s simple, without giving them a chance they dont get the experience. In this video we let a 19yo loose on a dangerous ash tree above power lines and by god, does he prove himself! Take a look at these grenade fuzes. what can you tell me about each one? 1. One is a solid piece of metal and used in replica grenades. It has no well for the primer and delay. 2. One is a grenade fuse for a smoke grenade 3. One is a real grease fuze look and see if you can see the primer in each grenade. It is there if you look close.

The ongoing inquest into the tragic death of scout Ben Leonard is interesting to me on a personal level (I can see the Great Orme from my house) and professional level. According to the BBC's news article the Scout Association's official definiton placed the Great Orme in its "terrain zero" rating because it was no more than 500m above sea level and no more than 30 metres from a road. The Association's national safety manager said that?"Best practice would be to write down a risk assessment, but we encourage dynamic risk assessments as plans change." Will the jury accept that low risk does not mean zero chance of serious harm? Alternatively, will every activity where there is potential for serious harm be automatically be considered high risk and managed accordingly? A boy died and that cannot be ignored. But people die in all sorts of circumstances and activities like walking on the Great Orme are such important experiences. https://lnkd.in/e3C3yPdv

Supply chain disruptions caused by cargo theft have escalated significantly, costing companies a large amount of money. The average value of stolen shipments is estimated at $150,711 per incident, with theft totaling approximately $68.5 million in the second quarter of 2024 alone. Annually, the global cost due to supply chain theft and related disruptions is estimated to be about $100 billion. Are better seals the answer? We need to have adequate fencing, surveillance cameras, better lighting, and security patrols in critical areas where the train may stop and/or at the rail yards. As well as higher punishment for these crimes.
Chicago today Are better seals needed?
