Interesting story from Rob Francis at Phocuswright Europe’s round table session yesterday: Booking.com is strongly built on a culture of experimentation and quick trial runs in order to foster a culture of innovation ? My favourite piece of thinking and creative execution right now is Expedia Group's articulation of travel being a force for good. Three powerful insights are pulled together with great consistency across the series. 1?? Travel creates unforgettable experiences that open minds and build connections 2?? Experiences are lived differently by each of us, and that's okay 3?? Expedia knows their role is to 'get out of the way' and be the enabler. I absolutely love the "You were made to <insert experience>. We were made to <insert variation of getting you there/booking it faster>" sentiment.
