If you can't have stable housing, you also don't have predictable meal times, you don't have food, sometimes you don't have clothing, you don't have the ability to change your clothes. We have almost 400 kids that are identified as not having stable housing. The washer and dryers, the clothing, we have personal hygiene products just so they have like a one stop shop. That was our whole goal of this space. Kids don't always have access to those things, so not only we try to provide and facilitate those pieces, but try to make sure they have a safe voice to connect with. Already feeling bad and, you know, uncomfortable in a really sad situation happened to them that night. So we want to cheer them up, make sure that they're OK. This effort from McKinney Vento store next door, Stuart Resource, any grants that we can get and community partners like Horsemen really make a difference. Kids lives.
