As part of this consultation, we would like to hear from all relevant stakeholders. We especially want to hear from people who have direct experience of being in a community residence, those close to them and those working in community residential mental health services. Today is World Mental Health Day. I feel inspired by all the posts I've seen raising awareness and encouraging advocacy. This year I decided to learn a little bit more about the history of this day. -It is an international day for global mental health education, awareness, and advocacy. -It was established on October 10, 1992 by the World Federation for Mental Health. -It's been observed every year since then, with each year having a specific theme or area of focus. This year's theme is "It is Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace." -It aims to "raise awareness in the global community about critical mental health agendas through collaboration with various partners to take action and create lasting change."
